<p>UC GPA is about 3.6, mostly from B’s in math/science classes. I guess I’m looking for
a campus with strong English/Writing departments. Someone told me UCR is good in
this respect, and perhaps that will be my only choice. Any other suggestions?</p>
<p>What’s your class rank or decile? What does your course rigor look like? Even “some” B’s in some math/science classes shouldn’t hurt you too badly on your UC GPA if they are 5 point classes.</p>

<p>Thanks. Fingers are crossed for UCSB because the College of Creative Studies sounds very intriguing. My rank is top 15%, so I don’t qualify in local context. I am taking almost all AP classes and really looking forward to college!</p>
