<p>I was wondering this today…would you rather pick someone (or even yourself) with a perfect 4.0 GPA from an average state school/university…or someone with a 3.0 GPA from HYP? And why?</p>
<p>What do you mean? like…transfering? i would say the 4.0 gpa from state school. nothing wrong with state schools.</p>
<p>I guess it really depends on the level of grade inflation/deflation at each school. If say, the 3.0 is deflated and the 4.0 is inflated, they might actually be about the same grade. But then again, I don’t know whether HYP students struggle with grade deflation.</p>
