which would you rather have?

<p>well, one of my friends and i were debating the merits of the SAT vs. GPA, and just out of curiosity, assuming that you stand to benefit from both, would any of you guys prefer/(really really want) a .1 increase in gpa or a 100 point increase for the SAT?</p>

<p>a 100 point increase is much more significant than a .1 increase in gpa in my opinion</p>

<p>really, it seems to me that lots of the hope colleges place precedence on the gpa</p>

<p>depends. i’d say +100 on the SAT, but from a 2300 to 2400, that’s not necessary. but if a +0.1 GPA puts you above the school’s average or something, that’ll help.</p>
