Did anyone who received an APE this week also receive a decision?

Did anyone interview with the Office of Presidential Correspondence and heard a response from them yet?

if any girls are looking for housing in the Georgetown area (4 blocks from university, ~2 miles from WH very accessible via bus) that’s very affordable (<1000, very VERY good for the area) please message me!

4th APE just received, oh geez…the wait continues :)

How exciting for you all, keep us posted ;)

i just got another APE too >_<

Just received my 4th APE as well.

Got my 4th APE email after I called the Internship Program… lol…

Can someone PM me the number to the program? I have to make a decision very soon.

Hey everybody…

This is the first time I’ve posted on here. However, I am also waiting to hear back for the spring internship program. I’ve had an interview and have received several APEs, but no final decision yet. I was recently accepted to another really great program, but I am having trouble convincing them to delay my decision deadline. WH is first choice, but this is also a great opportunity. How are other people dealing with this? Any advice? Thanks!

i feel you there. I let go another internship opportunity because WH is my first choice as well. I would say call the Internship office. When I called, they said they couldnt tell me anything, but I should be recieving an email shortly. But… it never hurts to try, maybe you will have more luck.

Hello Everyone!

Just stumbled upon this site and I am so glad to have found people in my same situation, although all this information is making me even more nervous! I graduate with my bachelors next week and I have been offered a full time job. I told them that I was waiting to hear from the WH, but thats not something an employer wants to hear when they offer you a job haha. I interviewed with the Personal Coorespondence office and submitted a second application last month. I too have received numerous APE emails, but it is really coming down to the wire here. You guys think we are in a good position? Ill be checking this page fanatically in the coming days!

Palmguy: Is this job something you are willing to risk for the possibility of an internship? I would weigh your options carefully on this decision.

mrgrimm92, I think that is good advice.

Palmguy I also interviewed with the Office of Presidential Correspondence…a month ago. I’m chomping at the bit here. It seems like decisions would have to come out soon.

I hate to be negative, but since conditional acceptances were sent out a few weeks ago, my guess is that anyone who has’t heard back is on the waiting list as they conduct background checks/get paperwork completed for the conditional acceptees…

@ those with job offers, I’d probably take them. I highly doubt a bunch of people fail the background check.

I was accepted this round. It was my third time applying. With that being said, if you don’t get in this time keep trying. Good luck to you all!

I just found out I’ve been accepted to the Office of Presidential Personnel… It’s my second time applying! I’m so excited!!

Does anyone know what they will be doing for housing? It’s a lot to figure out in a month!

congrats :)

Congrats on your acceptance! Did they email you or call you?

They e-mailed me this morning
