<p>I also applied and have yet to hear back besides the initial confirmation of application receipt. Do all successful applicants receive phone interviews, or do some (and how common is this?) just receive flat out acceptances? Just wondering :)</p>

<p>Can anyone who has received a rejection letter or has yet to receive a rejection letter say what letter their last name begins with? Earlier posts suggest that they may be doing it alphabetically.</p>
<p>Thanks whdenver85! My last name is at the beginning of the alphabet and I have yet to hear anything, so I don’t think it’s alphabetical.</p>

<p>Just received an email from white house saying that they are still processing my application and that notifications began starting this week.</p>

<p>No, I’m pretty sure if you receive a rejection letter, that’s the end of your road.</p>

<p>I think the “still processing” means you’re still in the running. Who knows though? We don’t have any information. The process changes every term so past terms are no guide, which is proven by the quicker pace we’re seeing here. I think we are basically flipping tarot cards at this point, speculating when and how we will be notified.</p>

<p>Hi all, I’ve been following this thread for a couple weeks and decided since I too applied for the Summer 2012 WH internship I should join. </p>
<p>I received an e-mail yesterday that my application was still being reviewed, a good sign I hope(:</p>
<p>I thought I would share some info with all of you, I read online that the WH Internship team sends out notifications of rejections/still reviewing/etc on Fridays</p>
<p>it seems like most of us got still processing e-mails, so i’m assuming they’ll probably send out a few more rejections before proceeding to phone interviews. :S</p>
