White males have a BIG advantage...

Please chance me on the following three schools. I WILL PROMPTLY CHANCE BACK! Thanks!

  1. University of Virginia
  2. University of Texas at Austin
  3. University of Florida
    Here are my stats:

Senior
White Male, Florida
Future Political Science major

Unweighted GPA: 3.86
Weighted GPA: 4.31
Class rank: 12/85 (very competitive, private school)

SAT Reading: 700
Math: 640 (no intention of becoming a math/science major, so hopefully they’ll cut me some slack)
Writing: 730

ACT: 30

SAT IIs: Math (540) and Literature (620)
I realize those scores are bad, but only UVA sees them because UVA’s the only school I applied to which requires them. UVA says SAT IIs can only help, but not hurt you…

Held quite a few leaderships in school (President, VP, Secretary, Editor-in-Chief)

  • one of the clubs I founded.
NHS and other honor societies (Math, Science) member
    Varisty Tennis and Track
807.5 community service hours during my four years in HS
Nominated for and attended 3 leadership conferences at Columbia, GW, and Georgetown Universities (one on politics, medicine, and international relations)
Good teacher recommendations and well written, insightful, and compelling essays

UVA- Have a recommendation letter from a foreign diplomat at the State Department (UVA alumi). He offered to write me a rec letter because he really thought I stood out at the leadership conference. Applied the day the application was released online in August. According to their records, I was the 27th applicant worldwide to submit their completed application.

UF- Well, I’m a Florida resident. My mom graduated from UF Law, #1 in her class. However, there are 19 people from my school who are applying to UF. Last year UF accepted 8 kids from my school, because it has a good reputation for producing great students. Applied the day the application was released.

UT- Sent them an extended resume with all my awards/accomplishments. Also applied the day the application was released.

Thanks, leave me a link to your stats, and I’ll chance you!

How many times are you going to post? People will say you have a good chance, people will say you have little chance, people will be in the middle. You just have to wait and see. This is at least the third time you’ve posted the same stuff.
