Whitney Houston dead.

^^^^^

Ugh…

[Whitney Houston – Found Underwater | TMZ.com](<a href=“Whitney Houston Dies -- Body Found Underwater”>Whitney Houston Dies -- Body Found Underwater)

There is a theory that she may have become extremely sedated from the excess alcohol consumed that night combined with xanax which she was legally prescribed, slid down the back of the tub, and drown. According to articles, she would take xanax before a performance due to anxiety and panic attacks. She was in the bathroom getting ready for the Clive Davis party where it was rumored that she was going to perform.

Actually what I read on People’s website is that this happened last night around 11PM, so it was more immediate than happening today.

This is all so sad. Its eerily similar to a recent Dateline NBC show that recently aired about a newlywed who was convicted of killling his wife who died in the bathtub. She apparently had a sleep disorder that may have contributed to her death.
Tmz reported it as of 40 minutes ago, so who knows what the facts are…i would think if it were last night, it might be unfortunately a lead story

Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was rushed to hospital Sunday, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

The 18-year-old daughter of the late singer and ex-husband, Bobby Brown, was taken from the Beverly Hilton by stretcher to Cedars Sinai hospital, according to sources at the hotel.

Maybe it happened twice.

CNN is presenting it as new (ie current) information, happening within the last hour or so. So yes, maybe this is a second incident?

Qdogpa- maybe the meaning of a “tragic” situation for someone and their family has new meaning for you? No need to answer. Rhetorical question.

I hope Bobby Brown is rushing to get to his daughter’s side, if he’s not already there. She needs him.

From articles I’ve read, the investigators found prescription bottles, but not illegal drugs. One report said Houston generally took Xanax before appearances/performances for anxiety.

Xiggi, +1 to your beautiful comment.

Jym , i will refrain crom answering your rhetorical question…

It would be nice if you could refrain from posting rude and insensitive things.

Great, qdogpa. Nice to see a good judgment call…

Jym,girlfriend, ease up…

"And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

Exodus 34:6-7

Why?? Now YOU want sympathy, qdogpa? Please. Spare us the biblical quotes. Apologize to the readers here for your tactless and insensitive comments. Pray that others forgive you for your incredible insensitivity.

^This brought tears to my eyes. The love between the two is obvious.

My last post on this thread. I wish the best for her daughter.

If you feel no sorry or sadness about the death whatsoever, that is your business. When you interject your feelings onto a forum where people are expressing the feelings that are absent in yourself, social courtesy- even in the electronic world- would dictate that you keep your hands off the keyboard. Just leave it alone. Wouldn’t that have been the better approach?

Oh so you were just looking for another opportunity to engage in mud slinging. How utterly repulsive.

At some point in qdogpa’s so called life, he/she/it will run across somebody that he/she/it knows that has an addiction problem. Hopefully his/her/it’s perspective will change, but not holding my breath.

That was very moving, nysmile. Thank you for sharing that.

Beautiful video, nysmile! I feel awful for her daughter - she must be so heartbroken. I hope she has support.
