Who cried?!

I didn’t cry, but I did make all sorts of embarrassing sounds that my little sister immediately tried to imitate.

And I did some super crazy dance moves that were too intense for words.

How did you guys do so well in science? It was hard. I got a 27. 33 overall. If I had gotten a higher score on science, I would’ve gotten a 35 composite!!

^I should be asking how you got a 27, that and I would have gotten my magic 31. I got a 23. Like I think you can easily get all the questions right if you had 2 hours to take the science test, but you just have to practice comprehending the information quickly. When I take some more science tests, I’ll see whether disregarding the passages at the beginning helps and just going straight to the questions at the beginning is more time beneficial because I think reading passages first should only be used on Reading(which I got a 31 on).

I cried in disappointment (not literally) when I saw the 22 in science. Meh, still managed to pull off a 29, but unfortunately I have to take it again now.

I almost cried out of disappointment. I really thought I did better and when I saw the 28, I had to triple check the date to make sure it was the correct date because surely I did better than that, but noooo…

That test was just a complete waste of time and money. I was just taking it for “fun” because I’ve already greaduated and got into college and I just thought I could have done better. I could have spent all that prep time out having fun with friends, but I just had to retake it. At least I improved it by a point. Whatever.

science was my best score ! i swear im built opposite i get the easiest section the most wrong

I looked at the individual scores one at a time; until I saw science, I thought I might actually have gotten my 36.
English - 36 (yay - no careless errors)
Math - 36 (yay - no careless errors)
Reading - 35 (uber yay! after getting a 610 on sat CR)
Science - 30 (NO NO NO NO NO - i’m supposed to be good at science - why didn’t i know about viscosity or mitosis? :frowning: )
I got the highest possible 34 - why couldn’t i have gotten the lowest possible 35?
For the few schools that superscore act, i’m set since i can probably get a 35-36 on science next time so my supercomposite will be 36, but otherwise, i’m screwed because i’m not sure i can ever do so well in english and reading again.

I cried when I saw how close I was to a 33, until I saw the 22 in reading =/

lol, hehe science is my lowest score as well…

RahoulVA, yea…i used the hack but still could not get my scores :(

so if we take the test again, some colleges will superscore and take our highest composite? I thought it was only the highest composite in one sitting…

Yup some colleges superscore the ACT, there’s a list floating around here somewhere

twiz, i dont think you need to retake it. remember…a perfect 36 isnt an guaranteed acceptance

No I didn’t cry, instead I threw my book across the room because I got a 31…AGAIN. Hopefully I’ll get that elusive 33 in September or else I can forget about prestigious colleges.

I don’t think I would ever cry for a test.

@laurstar: if it was a more balanced 34 (i.e 33/35/34/34 or something like that), I’d be happy, but a 30 in science makes it seem like I’m too weak in one subject.

i didn’t cry when i got a 32 but i literally ran around the house and jumped for joy up from 30 to a 32 and i was feeling awful the day of the test so it was an overall great feeling

I woulda been happy with a 36, but not cry-happy. Just neutral about anything less than that though.

I didn’t cry, but I sure felt like it. My composite score DROPPED 2 points. Science (which was my worst section) actually raised by 2 points, but the others dropped… sigh

Maybe it’s because I crammed last time but didn’t for this test. Hmm.

having a 30 in one subject isnt weak, especially since you were in the 30s all around. now if you did 36/36/36/25, then id be worried.
