I would look for a local bakery in the town or city where your D’s college is located.

Costco - but they don’t deliver where a regular grocery store probably will. Does she have a friend you could get to pick up a costco cake?
I was also going to suggest Costco if there is one near the school. I don’t have a membership but online it allows you to put in a delivery address and make a purchase. I don’t have an account and it looked like it would let me make the purchase. The price includes shipping and handling. It says it needs 3 to 5 business days for delivery.
I just looked online and they have a cake for $40 that could probably feed the whole floor as well as 24 cake pops also for the same price.

Sam’s Club can do cakes with edible photo of your choice on the cake and you can choose among flavor of cakes and frostings. They and Costco are bargains if you want to feed lots of folks (like dorm floor, team, etc). Local bakery can make nice small cakes. In LA, we have gone to small bakeries that have fresh fruit decorations all over the yummy cakes.
Is there a Nothing Bundt Cakes in the area… yum!
I did the bundt cakes when son inSV. Just ordered Dancin’ Deers, as they had a flash sale of 40% off.
I’d find a local bakery. For those with kids at Dartmouth, Lou’s does a great job. 
Dancin’ Deer is near Boston. They deliver all over. Bundt cakes has a selected area.
Ask other parents on the college web site for suggestions.
