Who did you want to have coffee with?

<p>For those who applied for UW Honors and chose this prompt, which two/three people did you choose to invite to a coffee house?</p>

<p>You were allowed to choose anyone you wanted.</p>

<p>I did the best mistake one. I talked about how my sister accidentally got put into a Chinese class and subsequently became a Chinese major.</p>

<p>I chose Winston Smith from 1984 and Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye. If you want to read the essay, you can (I personally thought it was horrible.)</p>

<p>I LOVED mine. I had coffee with Betty Friedan, Queen Elizabeth I, and Khadeja the first wife of the prophet Mohammad. We talked about gender roles and the rights of women. It was pretty sweet.</p>

<p>I chose the last 4 years change one. I thought it was alright, but I think my personal motivation and character really shone through, so I guess that’s what got me in.</p>
