Who do you think is funny these days?

I just watched Jimmy Fallon and Amy Schumer was on. She was hilarious and it got me thinking about who seems funny these days. For me:
Amy Schumer
Wanda Sykes
Daniel Tosh
Key & Peele
Stephen Colbert
Kathy Griffin
Tina Fey

Who do you think is funny?

Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert

Yes, Should have put Jimmy Fallon on my list. That was kind of a given but should have made that clear. I think Amy Poehler is funny too. And Aziz Ansari is hilarious (especially with his stuff about his cousin Harris).

Patton Oswalt, love, love him.
Nick Offerman is also funny, but boy, is he bawdy! ( we saw him along with his wife, Megan Mullally.
I also like Aziz Ansari and he’s on Netflix.
Wanda Sykes and Amy Sedaris are hilarious and you can watch them both on Alpha House on amazon.

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart. Also Amy Poehler.

Stephen Colbert and Sheldon Cooper.

I remember Patton Oswalt from King of Queens. Nick Offerman and Megan Mullaly are funny as well. Love Amy Sedaris too. I think Joan Rivers is still pretty sharp at her age. Love Big Bang Theory. Tracy Morgan is funny too. Hope he’s improving.

I saw Patton Oswalt when he guest starred on Parks & Rec & Justified.
I meant to add Tracy Morgan.
I love him too.
I saw he has been moved to a rehab facility, so he is out of the woods, but still has a long road ahead.
I also like Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy( sometimes).
Tina Fey & Amy Poehler, goes without saying.
Also Colbert and Jenny Slate.

I like Reggie Watts too. ( his bass player from his band Maktub used to live next door)
Now he does stand up as well as music.
I still miss George Carlin.

Not familiar with Jenny Slate or Reggie Watts. I’ll have to look them up. I also do like Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy. Lisa Lampenelli can be funny.

Jenny Slate guests on Parks and Rec, ( Jean-Ralphio’s twin sister) she also has a new movie out I havent seen. Obvious Child.

Mindy Kaling - especially loved her Harvard Law commencement speech.

I like many of the people mentioned but my favorite old school stand up comedian in Jim Gaffigan.

<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube;

Also enjoy John Mulaney. He is a SNL writer and is going to have a new sitcom this fall.

<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube;

If you haven’t heard of Maz Jobrani, he is brilliant. An original member of the Axix of Evil Comedy Tour, Maz is an Iranian American who does cultural humor, without offending anyone. He has even done a TED Talk.

This clip is about a tour he did in the Middle East: <a href=“Maz Jobrani - Travel To Arab Country.avi - YouTube”>Maz Jobrani - Travel To Arab Country.avi - YouTube;
And this one is from The Axix of Evil Comedy Tour (all Middle Eastern comics joining together to change the perspective of Middle Easterners to the rest of the world): <a href=“Maz Jobrani - Axis of Evil Comedy Tour - YouTube”>Maz Jobrani - Axis of Evil Comedy Tour - YouTube;

I did see Jenny Slate on Jimmy Fallon last week and thought she was funny. I agree with Mindy Kaling too. Also like Whitney Cummings, Louis C K. I mentioned Key and Peele before . I just watched one of their shows so I thought of this thread again. Check them out.

In addition to many already mentioned, I find Ellen DeGeneres always makes me smile.

Yes, Ellen is sharp and just naturally funny.

Alive: Lewis Black

Dead: Mitch Hedberg

Mitch was hilarious. RIP.

I’ve always thought Howard Stern was funny, even thougb he’s not technically a comedian.
