Umm I think California alone dominates the Midwest (pfft cow country…)

We have
-Two of the top private colleges in the country (Caltech and Stanford) and the top public university in the country (Cal)
-Best basketball team in the NBA aka Lakers
-Disneyland
-In-N-Out
-The ability to surf and snowboard in the same day
-The largest population of any state in the country
-Most representatives in the House –> our opinion matters more than yours –> we’re better than you (credit for this reason goes out to the FB group)

I, of course, did not make any generalizations and was being completely serious in the composition of these reasons.

well Illinois has northwestern and UChicago and U of I…haha
-BESTEST team in MLB and NFL aka Cubs and Bears
-Chicago, which pwns any city in Cali
-chicago deep dish pizza
-most demographically average state
-Rod Blagojevich
-prairies, and lots of em

thats actually all I can think of. and blagojevich and prairies aren’t really good things, aren’t they haha

OH but there are 2 tie breakers…

-Cali is full of unsavory cities like: San Fran (too fruity), LA (too crowded) San diego (illegal immigrants), and Berkeley (full of unamerican people according to sean hannity)

-Barack Obama represents illinois. WIN.

Illinois blows. They’ve got Chicago. That’s it. California has everything to offer in a state, all in one. All of jamesford’s points are proof :)
