Who Else Is Stressing About College Major Decisions- Or Just Stressed About Life In General!

I am currently attending ASU and I am completely lost. I enrolled as Undecided, and I feel I am more lost than I was before. My first semester was a cake walk, easier than high school, and now that the semester is over I am trying to declare a possible major. Last week I decided upon declaring my major in Human Nutrition, however over some thoughts and research the program i am in, is a Pre-Med program, and I don’t want to do pre-med.

So now I am thinking of possibly majoring in Design Studies with a concentration in Design Management and minoring in Human Nutrition. Anyways, I was wondering what peoples opinions would be on my decision or if they have any recommendations. Some other majors I had considered in the past were Psychology and Journalism (and currently somewhat interested in Neuroscience).

A little background: I am very interested in the arts- I had considered Interior Design as well. (I know I am all over the place) I am just stressed out and need some advice. My dad thinks I would be good at majoring in something science related while my mom says to just do something I like… but to be honest I am completely lost.

Please someone I need advice!

Do you have to declare a major yet? If not, you might take a few courses in subjects that might be interesting and decide from there.

Look up the requirements and prerequisite sequences for all of your possible majors. Next semester, choose courses that can help you gauge your interest in each, and keep you on track for on-time graduation if you choose the associated major.
