So many on college confidential have perfect or near-perfect scores and some have won international awards/scholarships. It makes me feel so… average. I feel like I won’t stand out in a pool of applicants and my chances are lowered. I’m also an international applicant, which doesn’t help things.

Im sure people are average… but you need to define average. You posted this on a Harvard thread… average for many Ivy League students is not average for others…

The hardest part of being here is seeing all the people’s stats and thinking, “I wonder what they’re like in real life.” You really never know. They’re impressive on the site as it is, and treat it like it’s nothing. But even someone with my average stats is able to impress peers. So people with Harvard stats must others want to sing and dance.
