Just wondering how many people got into UCLA without completing all the pre-reps.
Because some of my friends say that pre-reps are not that important.
Thanks!!!

It depends on the department of your intended major. Some departments are very strict about pre-reqs and just missing one is bad. Some departments are less strict. But for the most part completing pre-reqs are important because they prepare you for upper division course. For some majors like Math, pre-reqs are extremely important because the pre-reqs is the foundation that upper division courses are built upon. Missing pre-reqs in this case may mean that you will not be able to take upper division courses or it can make it harder for you to understand concepts in lecture when you take one of the upper division courses.

well, man.. i was going to do my pre-reps, but then i just dove straight into my SICK workout, and just knocked down like 40 regular reps on my SICK bi's and like a modest 30 on my RIPPED tri's.. so, don't trip, bro.
i got into UCLA, anyway!

Awaken Zero: Thanks for your answer!
Because I need to have a class schedule change which will affect one of the pre-reps. my major is math/applied science. And actually I am missing more than one pre-reps. However, I got in. I am just worried about the schedule change.

Haha. That made me laugh.

I got into Global Studies while missing one pre-req....to my surprise.....

Well it depends on the department, but one missing pre-req isn't as bad as missing multiple pre-req. Viper I suggest you call the admissions office, they will give you a definite answer.

@ pinker

lmaoo i tend to do some pre-reps just so i dont hurt myself, and if i tear my bis and tris i probably wouldnt be able to use the computer apply to ucla, so pre-reps are pretty important
