<p>I got nothing too. I am an international student. I just applied to UT at Austin >.<</p>
<p>Me, and it sucks. But I knew before I even turned it in that nobody would give me anything. Sigh.</p>
<p>I am really scared that this is going to happen to me! I’ve already gotten letters saying I don’t qualify for 2 need based grants. I’m still hoping for enough Stafford and Perkins loans and Work-study to have some covered!</p>
<p>Questions:
Did any of you apply to colleges or programs within colleges for which you were well above the statistics to receive merit aid? Or did you just miscalculate the situation due to lack of guidance? What would you do differently given your current experiences with financial aid?</p>
<p>Every student who is middle class should have two or three financial safety schools and at least two they are truely willing to attend. In D’s case that was Miami of OH (in state tuition) and Agnes Scott College.</p>
