<p>I am looking for a masters program in financial planning that isn’t an online program. The catch is that my son, who majored in accouting, only has 3.0 GPA overall. However, he has taken some financial planning courses at his college and has achieved about a 3.8+ in these courses, if this makes a difference.</p>
<p>We looked into both Texas Tech and Bentley,both of which look terrific. However, the average GPA for their graduate programs is a 3.4,which is much higher than my son has in college. Maybe they have a low GPA for financial planning.Any other suggestions for strong programs?</p>
<p>Let me note, he isn’t interested in an MBA with a few courses in financial planning. He wants a masters so that he can take a lot of courses related to his interests.</p>
