Who has a Ninja CREAMi?

I am a professed minimalist, and I definitely try to limit the number of kitchen gadgets I own. I have limited cabinet space, and this thing is so tall it would have to stay out on my counter (although it would be tucked away in a sort of butler’s pantry/launch area that is off our kitchen. Can you tell I’m trying to justify getting one???)

But, but, but…. A friend of mine has one of these, and she whipped up some chocolate protein ice cream in it that tasted AMAZING!

I heard it run, so I know it is is loud. She said she almost always has to do the re-spin on it as well.

If you have one, do you use it often? I don’t want something that isn’t going to be used much. It does seem like a delicious way to up one’s protein, however.

I wish you could rent things like this to try them out. Right? A 2 week rental or something to see how likely you are to fall in love with the product/results.

I’m seeing a lot of influencers do exactly what you mentioned - homemade frozen treats w/protein or collagen. Also lot of fruit based with little to no dairy.

So I love it. You can take a fair life shake and a banana, freeze it for 24 hours and then have a soft serve ice cream that tastes like a Wendy’s frosty. The issue is that it is large and it is crazy noisy

I looked at this in Costco. The difference I see is that you have to have room in the freezer for the containers that are filled for 24 hours ahead of time. I just bought a cuisinart 1.5 quart and it was smaller, less expensive and amazing. It has a container (24 hr prep) that lives in the freezer and you take out when you want to put a mix in it. I didn’t think the noise was that bad.
