Who has made a turkey charcuterie board?

I am charged with, “snacks,” before our Thanksgiving meal. I have seen lots of inspo for making a charcuterie board that looks like a turkey. I want to use a pear as the body and then fan out cheeses, nuts, crackers etc. I’m not sure why I am intimidated by this? It should be fairly straight-forward, but I want it to look cute!! Would you mix in fruits or veggies? I wish I had a template with quantities.

Do you think these would work for cutting slices of cheese? I’ve also seen cheese just cut into long triangles, which seems less wasteful??

I know these are leaves, but a couple of them give off feather vibes??

If you’ve done this, did you use a round or rectangular board or platter?

Haven’t made one. Have seen lots of pics. Your pics looks great and I think as long as you can “copy” a pattern you’ll do fine!

Here are a couple other ones i saw that may be more simple:

I have made one several times. We call them Turkuteries. Usually use a square or rectangular cutting board because that’s what I have. Every year it’s a little different. I have also made turkey shaped cheese balls with embellishments.

We’re making one, and the body will be a pumpkin hummus; lots of veggies, some crackers, some cheese. (Trying to be a bit healthy before we dive into the heavy dinner).
With boards, you can be as creative as you want. The one thing I would say is that I’ve learned to allow ample time to assemble; have all your ingredients cut/sliced before you start.
Post a pic of your final creation!
