Who here applied ED?

Thanks AudreyH! I honestly don’t think I deserve it… I was just lucky and happened to play a sport.

You need to stop being so negative, Audrey! It ain’t over till it’s over.

Don’t say that - you 100% deserve it! They are lucky to have you :)

AudreyH be confident of yourself !! :)

@AudreyH… i’m doubting everything like you too, but my horsocope keeps telling me that I will be successful if I stay postive, so take that advice with me? I’m trying to follow that !

hey guys, I’m a newcomer here. I just had a question for all you ED1 applicants…did anyone apply to the Silver School? I myself am a Silver School applicant; I’ve been reading this post and I have yet to come across a Silver School applicant…everyone applied to Tisch, Steinhardt, Stern or CAS.

@ric3393, I feel the same way! I didn’t apply to Silver, but I applied ED to the College of Nursing. Are there any other nursing ED applicants out there?

There seem to be a lot of nursing applicants if you check the nyu forum (not this thread).

itstime - what horoscope do you use? and what is your star sign? i’m a libra :)

@raytardd RELAX, it’s not at all about stats, but rather your application as a whole. I did apply to CAS, but I got LSP’d with pretty average numbers.

@magnificent My stats were not that amazing

GPA: 3.63 Unweighted - my school does not weight
ACT: 29
Killer essay, very good rec’s.

EC’s: 3 years varsity soccer

 • 2 years varsity track,
 • president/founder of Human Rights Club
 • Representative of Nepal (my home-country) at the United Nations for Youth for Human Rights Summit
 • Sponsored a 6 year old kid in Nepal to go to school
 • Selected as Peer Leader (help out freshmen type of thing)
 • Selected to attend Student Diversity Leadership Conference in Denver
 • Model UN Delegate

I think my EC’s played a pretty big role in the decision, so it’s not just all about being smart. Good luck to all!

All the students that applied to Cornell ED are freaking out right now… that will be me in less than a week >.<

Hi.

I just went on my NYU home (the applicant page) and an “Accept / Decline Financial Aid” just appeared. When I click on it it says “award acces not available”. This is normal since I am international and hence I am not eligible for financial aid. Yet, do you think it could mean something?

thanks.

When I logged onto the applicant page, the exact same thing appeared. I’m in CA though. Maybe it’s just a standard change as we near the decision date?

I hope its means something good, but I won’t get my hopes up

its on mine too. im trying not to read something into it tho…

idk my friend got an email and then was lsp’d
but i thought lsp stuff was over?
also idk if any of you read nyu local but they did a post on cc today:
[NYU Local - 2015 Hopefuls Bring Back Memories Of Distressing Times On College Confidential](<a href=“NYU Local”>http://nyulocal.com/on-campus/2010/12/09/2015-hopefuls-bring-back-memories-of-distressing-times-on-college-confidential/)

HAHAHA they put my joke on the post.

@urbanman, I got that too for my financial aid, I hope it means something good!

i have that too. i really wouldn’t think anything of it guys

^ Neither would I, I didn’t apply for financial aid and it still appeared.

ignite7… don’t they group merit with financial in that category? so you never know…
