I think my essays and showing how dedicated I was to student government got me in… I didn’t get involved in everything, but I worked my butt off for government. Good luck! Hope this helped

Shreveport87: if you don’t mind me asknig but how is your unweighted GPA a 4.5? Or did u use that system out of 5.0 instead of 4.0?

I did! I did! I did! haha. no really, I did…

Lucky98 : 3.8/4.5 can you please explain to me how you got a 4.5 GPA. That comes out to around a 112.5 average. I just don’t understand how that is possible.

Excited to go to Wharton and good luck to the Class of 2011!

Sorry buddy, that was a typo. It’s actually around 4.3. However, I wouldn’t freak out too much about the GPA. Admissions Officers are looking at how you stack up against the kids in your high school. So, rank matters more than the actual GPA, just don’t have it dip too low.

It was just 4.5 / 4.7 … we don’t have the 5 point scale for everyone… does that make sense? Your GPA is just what it is, no weighted stuff.

so then is 4.5 / 4.7 out of a 5.0 scale?

theworld,

Isn’t it becoming obvious from these responses that it’s NOT about GPAs and test scores? Wake up and look at how these applicants distinguished themselves outside of the classroom, man.

ahhmmmmm… ^ word.
