Who is going to be attending GATech?

Right now I am choosing between georgia tech and UT austin, but most likely will choose georgia tech. Anyone else? If you want to AIM me, my screen name is BbOyFoiBLe.

I have not heard from UT Austin yet (transfer admittance is slow apparently), and am also waiting on Cal (due Apr 29th). If I get into Cal there is a good chance i’ll go there, if I get into Austin it’s a toss up between Tech and Austin. I can let you know in May:p

I wasn’t really planning on attending Georgia Tech and then their absolutely horrible financial aid package sealed the deal. No GT for me.

I was swaying between GaTech and Rice and a couple of days back i really wanted to go to Gatech… now i reaslised it just isnt the right school for me… if ur hesitent check this site out, its very helpful www.studentreview.com , laterz

If you believe everything you read on those sites, you are going to make the wrong choice. You have to visit the schools for yourself, stay overnight, talk to students and get a feel for things on campus.

Don’t take the word of some disgruntled students that couldn’t handle the workload. How do we even know that these are true GT students on this site? I don’t trust any of those sites. Do your homework and go with your own instincts.

point taken biomed23… so are you a student at GaTech?

lemme have a look around in some college guides or something. Its not practical for me to visit as i am an international from hong kong and its not time or financially efficient.

would appreciate any other advice… thanks

I talked to a few students at GATech; they told me engineering is a lot of work, but a lot of fun at the same time.
