Who is majoring in Comp Sci?

I am! I definitely don’t fit the “typical computer science student” stereotype though lol

sweeeet. a girl in HSSEAS! i’m not in compsci, but i’m in mechanical engineering.

So … tell us more about yourself SusieB.

my listed major is computer science. I’m pretty good at comp sci, but I don’t feel excited about it… I might change my major to biz-econ or something.

Why…hello there.

I’m gonna do Comp Sci & Engi… but like #4, i might change my major too…

Hey. I did comp sci too. Although I’m not positive if im going to UCLA. I’m still debating Cal Poly SLO’s software engineering major. Heh. So we’ll see.

ok well first of all i’m a girl lol…doubt there will be many girls with this major!
second, i’m a ballerina (doubt i’ll have much time to dance at ucla though) who also likes watching formula 1 racing. any other comp sci ballerinas who like f1? haha i highly doubt it :stuck_out_tongue: i’d be surprised just to find someone in comp sci who does ballet…

there’s actually a ballerina who’s a 1st year chemical engineer

i have 2 friends who are girls who are doing EECE ;] and i have another friend who is a girl and she’s in CS or CSE (i forget) tho she’s thinking of switching ><

“there’s actually a ballerina who’s a 1st year chemical engineer”

no way! that’s cool :)

For those who are CS or CSE, are you happy at UCLA? Do you get attention in your classes?

so far i’ve taken cs 31 and 32, and whenever I’ve needed “attention” i’ve gotten it. I’ve emailed professors in these classes many times and always gotten a helpful response back, and every response usually comes very fast. if you are proactive in trying to get attention you will get it
