<p>D has 3 acceptances and is waiting on 8 schools: Hartt, Roosevelt, Tisch, BOCO, Belmont, Webster, CCU, and OCU.</p>
<p>We’re not dwelling on the rejections, just relieved to have 3 acceptances so far.</p>
<p>Does anyone know when Belmont will be issuing acceptances/rejections?</p>
<p>We have two no’s (CCM and Michigan) one yes (Ithaca) one wait list (BW) waiting on NYU Tisch and one more audition at SUNY Fredonia end of MArch. I agree with dancemtmom once you have an acceptance you are ready to move on and things are easier to take. Looking back on the experience I would have had him apply to more schools and certainly back up ones. I had no idea what this process was like.</p>

<p>Nevermind - D just got the rejection letter from Belmont. Oh well, on to the next fish.</p>

<p>I was thinking the same thing @MTMajorCook. Seems there are a TON who auditioned for Otterbein. Is this the school that takes 3-4 girls and 5-6 boys? </p>
<p>^The typical class has usually been 4 girls/4 boys for MT, 4 girls/4 boys for acting, but sometimes that varies. Last year there were 2g/2b for acting and one extra boy for MT–13 total-- in the performance class entering fall of 2013. </p>
<p>So they’ll accept 8 out of 250 who auditioned. Ugh…going to be a looong week. </p>
<p>Well, and they’ll waitlist 8 (MT). Hang in there! I remember all too well how nerve wracking it was this time last year. <3</p>
<p>S says “Well at least it won’t take a week for Otterbein to call everyone, they only have to make like 8 phone calls” LOL DoReMiMom its usually 2 MT’s with a concentration in dance and 2 MTs from what I understand. </p>

<p>SU88BFA. I hear ya this has been such a long process. Good luck to you and everyone waiting on results. I think we will have a quite week we arent expecting to hear from ours til the end of this month so I guess we just sit back and relax a bit. </p>
<p>One rejection, three acceptances and waiting for four more. It’s really exciting to me. </p>
