Who is your favorite fictional lawyer?

lskinner finally mentioned mine…John Cage. I don’t have too many fictional lawyers to choose from, but I’d probably put the Biscuit on a list of favorite TV characters in general.

John Cage and Ben stone

39,

Can’t believe you didn’t throw Lionel Tribbey in there!

oh yeah! and Ainsley Hayes. thanks for the heads up :D

Atticus Finch, Jake Brigance from A Time to Kill (both the fictional character and the movie character played by Matthew McConaughey), Rudy Baylor from The Rainmaker.

LOL i can’t believe someone said Phoenix Wright.

Ned Racine by a mile. Runners-up: Vinny Gambini, Freddie Riemenschneider, Miles Massey, Snoopy.

Denny Crane and Alan Shore.

Matlock!, i love him

the lawyer from Seinfeld Jackie Chiles

Elle Woods. How can anyone not like her?

Lurked, and couldn’t resist. I’m with Chedve. Perry Mason and Rumpole. Can’t wait for all of the PM shows to come out on DVD. I gave my kid the Rumpole series for Xmas, and the package is still in its shrink wrap. Sigh. I plan on “borrowing” it before he goes back to school in September.

Lt. Daniel Kaffee!!! DUH, A Few Good Men such a good film and I love Tom as a lawyer in it.

Will Truman and Ling Woo

Robin “Stormy” Weathers (Judd Nelson) and Harv Smithfield from the old TV show ‘Dallas.’

Matlock all the way!!

Joan Clayton from Girlfriends!!

The Demi Moore character in “A Few Good Men” was the least believable fictional portrayal of a lawyer I have ever seen. Tom Cruise wasn’t much better, I’m afraid.

Carson Drew, lol.

Stolen from wikipedia:

Blue-Haired Lawyer (Dan Castellaneta), also known as Mr. Burns’s Lawyer is Springfield’s most prominent and powerful lawyer known for his blue hair, and nasal New York accent. He is one of few Simpsons characters to have a pasty-colored face. He also occasionally appears to serve as a prosecutor. Unlike Lionel Hutz or Gil Gunderson, “Blue-Hair” is a competent lawyer. He has served as Burns’s head lawyer, helping him out with threats of the Power Plant closing down and of Burns losing his money. He is a member of the Springfield Republican Party. His clients often tend to be antagonists of the Simpsons. He represents The Walt Disney Company. His largest role was when he assisted in Bart’s emancipation. He also represents the estates of Charles Chaplin and Jimmy Durante. He is notable for being one of the show’s only characters who appears to have absolutely no sense of humor. He is based on Roy Cohn, and a homage to veteran Charles Lane. In Papa Don’t Leech, he helps Lurleen Lumpkin (Beverly D’Angelo) win her trial.

Bob Loblaw from “Arrested Development” is pretty awesome.
