Oh, and btw, I just saw in TIME today that they’re gonna make an “Arrested Development” movie. Can’t wait!!

Check out the movie, “The Verdict.” It’s an old flick. This film’s protagonist is a personal injury lawyer with a drinking problem. He struggles with his sanity while trying a med mal case. In one scene, he becomes enraged and smashes his framed law degree into a million pieces. When he gives his closing statement to the jury, he is not eloquent and he is not suave. He speaks much too slowly and has trouble expressing his ideas. I like that character a lot. It’s hard to pick a favorite fictional lawyer, but he is definitely one of them.

Mordecai Green from The Street Lawyer. His character alone was responsible for me beginning to consider law as a possible career.

Mark Darcy from the Bridget Jones books/movies!!

Alex Cabot from Law and Order: SVU (early seasons, not the awkward Casey Novak…)
