My DS is a dual enrollment student in his senior year of high school, and taking Chemistry 1 (the one the STEM kids usually take that first year in college) at the college near our home. They have a neat program called SI - or Supplemental Instruction - that we read about in his course materials.
He went to it tonight, and glory be - there is some use to doing SI!
Of course I knew that, but he seemed skeptical before he left. Needless to say I just said “great job.” Hoping these little things “stick” when he does go away to school on his own.
