Who knows how to make a one-page folded pamphlet?

Friend needs to put together something for her daughter’s senior night field hockey team. She has the pictures and all, but is not particularly computer-savvy. I think this is very doable in Word or PowerPoint, but before I spend much more time researching, I’m sure there are people out there who have done this.

End product would be one page, folded in half, open like a book.

[Use Word to Create a Tri-Fold Brochure](http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=143)

I used this recently. Not exactly what you’re asking, but it might help.

If you have a mac, it’s easy to use some of their existing templates in Pages. Just replace what you need to replace with your own visuals and text and resize.

Look for templates in Microsoft word, I would use keywords such as brochure. If you can’t find then, the feature you are looking for is ‘columns’. It is not complicated

Thanks all. Neither friend nor I do Macs (but I know they’d be the way to go if we were used to them!). I did find some “greeting card” templates, but all came with some kind of theme on them (holiday, birthday, . . . ). In the meantime I played around with PPT–not sure if it’s what she has in mind but I cobbled together a test thingy with one slide for front and back and a second for the inside. I’m thinking print those on two sides of a sheet and call it a day?

That column stuff in Word looks good too–I’ll go explore now.

Do either of you have Print Shop - even an older version? (seems we all had this when our kids were younger) - brochure templates on there…

In Word, go to the Page Layout tab|Page Setup. On the Margins tab, there’s a dropdown box under Pages - choose Book Fold. That should give you what you need.

^^Awesome. Thanks.
