I am a student right now at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida (a top 10 community college in the US for four of the past six years) and will be graduating this summer with an A.A. in Accounting. I will most likely graduate with a 3.5 gpa, both regular and preprofessional. My SAT score is a 1270 but I plan to retake both that and the ACT to see if I can do better. In addition, I plan to take a gap year to do two internships, one in wealth management and the other in a private natural gas business (interning in the financial department) in Miami, Florida. I would like to transfer out of state, however I am wondering what high ranking undergraduate business programs will give me a reasonable consideration. Some schools I have been planning on applying too include University of Washington-Seattle, Michigan State, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Connecticut, University of Maryland, UC-Berkeley… do you think I have a shot at getting into these schools as a business transfer? What other good undergrad business programs (I also plan on pursuing my MBA) do you think I might have a shot of getting into? Thanks so much for your input!
