<p>For my Penn Supplement I am adding some references to finance and the stock market, however I realized that I don’t really know who will be reading my essay, a wharton grad, or a graduate of CAS. Does anyone know whether the readers of essays are specific to each school, or just in general. I don’t want to add metaphors/references and then leave the reader not understanding their significance. Of course I am not talking about anything complicated, but you never know how much someone knows about a topic.</p>
<p>The admission folks reading your essay know more about finance than you do at this point in your life. The essay should say more about YOU than be some kind of a lecture about how much you know.</p>
