Who reads the essays & meaning of a word

<p>Who are the admissions officers that read essays? Are they usually English professors or some sort?</p>

<p>Also, I have another question.</p>

<p>I used a word in my essay that is usually considered sexual (kind of). The word was “intimate relationship.” But, I used this word to imply emotional intimacy between friends. Do you think this could be a problem?</p>

<p>I used the word “sexiest” in my Brown essay. I’m not concerned about it. It all depends on how you use it and if it truly adds to the point of the essay.</p>
