aww bad times. I really want to take a nap now though. I haven’t done homework for the past two nights… I think that’s a record. On a school night, that is. Senioritis–already kicking in. Bad bad bad.

senioritis kicked in for me…junior year…hehe…im totally screwed now:

i’ve had severe senioritis since sophomore year, i think.

this past month, i haven’t handed in a single paper on time. in fact, right now i am supposed to be writing an essay on heart of darkness.

i’m horrible.

oh man. heart of darkness. do you notice that the paragraphs go on and on and on and never stop and then you get really confused by the run-on sentences and the paraph-long descriptions of stuff that doesn’t matter and then when you finally get to the end of the book you realize that it had absolutely no chapters and all the paragraphs are like five pages long each and in the end you’re like *** and finally you read sparknotes and then get tested on it and then get a D- (with a curve) because your english teacher asked the most specific questions ever?

Yeah.
Definitely happened to me. HAHAHA.

I think about one person in my entire AP english class made it through Heart of Darkness.

yeah it’s a toughie.

the first time i read heart of darkness, i didn’t. that is, i realized that i had skipped about fifty pages (marlow’s entire trip into the congo) after i spent a few days wondering how the heck the guy had gotten there so fast.
