What is your hunch? Do you think you got in?
I applied to three schools - two in the top tier and one lesser known gems.

Personally, I’m about as certain as the fog outside your window. But my parents are absolutely convinced I’m a shoo-in for Hotchkiss and Choate, so…we’ll see! :)

My parents are not so sure… Your parents must have seen something in your candidature that makes believe that…

20 hrs to go…

I believe I will it make in at least one of the three… But you never know… There are just too many variables… I am prepared either way(!!)… Busy with my school and can’t wait for the spring break…

@barcelona99: Hahahaha, no, my parents are just incredibly naive when it comes to boarding school acceptance rates.

Good luck!
I’m sure we’ll all have favorable results come March 9! After all, when one door closes, maybe it’s because another, better one, is waiting.

@GoldenRatio: I dig this quote in one of your postings “luck dictates where you start, but you determine where you end.”.

Got to keep dreaming!! keep working for it!!

@barcelona99: Haha, thanks. But yeah! fist pump We can do anything we set our minds to!!!

Andover applicants who have been accepted can verify that a FEDEX package is scheduled to be delivered Saturday morning by calling FEDEX. If you aren’t receiving a package, then you are getting a mailed rejection letter arriving at the beginning of the week. Look at the Andover Admission Facebook, the Director of Admission gives the stats and a very nice explanation to all applicants regarding how difficult the acceptance process is.

Does anyone know the FedEx PA trick to know about acceptance?

Lol @DC I posted a minute after you

I applied to a small number of select schools, one of them was Saint Andrews School (SAS) in Delaware. I received an acceptance package today, with a generous financial aid package. Thank you Saint Andrews, a wonderful gem of a school. Lets see what happens tomorrow.

I was accepted to the Pingry School in NJ, one of the top day schools in the country…I am very happy about it, and even if I get into Blair, I still may go to Pingry.

Congratulations, exeover!!
My son is a III Former at SAS and daughter was admitted today too. If all goes well, you may have a choice between rather large schools and a small one. There are lots of differences that come with those sizes, of course. Good luck tomorrow, and I’m always available to help in any way possible. We’re naturally very positive about SAS, but as an ex-BS teacher, I draw on that perspective as well.

Congrats exover! SAS is a truly amazing school. It was my 2nd choice last year–I would have picked it over Choate if I hadn’t been accepted to Lville.

@exeover, SamHam424

Congratulations! I guess you can wait for M9 M10 without too much stress.

My son has been accepted at Thacher and is now waiting for Cate and Webb. We applied to those schools only. We will see how it goes.

Thank you guys, and good luck to everyone.

I know I got a boarding school as they told me in January

Has anyone from virginia gotten into Andover??
