who thinks the SAT is easy?

I see a lot of threads with people posting their scores and even the recent “predict your scores” thread… so do those people who actually get or even predict their high scores of 2300+ actually think the SAT is easy? Do any of you extremely smart people or those of you who studied/practiced extensively for the SAT actually the SAT is quite easy?

I got 2300. SAT isn’t easy but people do tend to blow it out of proportion. I can only laugh when I read some of these threads about people bringing food and energy drinks like they are pulling an all-nighter or going on a long camping trip. I also love the people who predict 2300’s and then come back and post every little thing that screwed them over to explain why they ended up lower (uttaresh comes to mind but he isn’t the only one).

i got a 2200 and i thought it was extremely difficult
however, if you practice enough you can do well

~ its ~ hard~ but only if u know the material by prepping, then it 'll be alright :D

i still don’t understand how you achieve impossibly high scores
i just can’t do it!!

I predicted 2330 for myself but my score could be as high as 2380…I don’t think
the SAT is hard, but it takes a great deal of concentration to navigate 4 hours of
trick questions without messing up.

yeah, i mean, the questions on the sat are generally pretty easy, and most people can attest to that. its just that in certain circumstances people tend to place too much emphasis on the potential implications that are fraught with an SAT score and make every effort to answer every question correctly. That in itself invariably becomes a problem.

The people who say that it is omgz teh eaziest thing evar are tools and probably attention-seekers. No, the SAT is not the hardest test you will ever take, but as someone said, it definitely takes a lot of concentration to be able to ace a four-hour exam. Some people do score highly, and they probably practice and study and work their butts off for it. Some people go in without a clue and score 1940 by some freak accident. Some people think it’s really hard and end up with a 1540. It is different for everyone, but there’s nothing “easy” about keeping your mental level extremely sharp for so long, as the test is not entirely about answering questions correctly but proving that you have the intellectual agility to make yourself sit through it and score well enough. Most schools place more emphasis on transcripts than test scores for that very purpose; your grades in school will usually tell more about your strengths and weakness than one or two test days will.

Honestly, it’s okay to think the test is hard.
