DH just broke his watchband…says he’s not going to replace it and will join the rest of our family group that uses our cell phones…

Are watches like sunglasses, in that it is impossible to lose cheap sunglasses, but expensive ones you can lose in a heartbeat.

Right handed, left wrist - as tight as possible. I hate jiggly stuff. Can’t wear most bracelets because of that.

Left wrist. Loose enough to shake to keep it going.

Nasty habit of turning the face to the inside in meetings so as to be able to glance casually to check the time (learned in sales training to keep the presentation on time). Even though I’ve tried to stop doing this, I’m pretty good at it and it doesn’t stop a meeting. I know it’s not as obvious as people who start a meeting by putting their Blackberry on the table and then stopping midsentence to check it when they see the light!!

always wear a watch, even on the weekends…feel lost without it. I get told that I wear my watch on the wrong wrist…I’m a lefty and wear my watch on my right wrist…what’s wrong with that???

Wear a watch almost every place except the shower and bed. Left wrist, not loose, a trick because I have a very small wrist for a man. A self-winding Bulova, a high school graduation gift some mumble years ago. (I’m the oddest combination of spendthrift and cheapskate you’ll ever meet…the watch works fine, so why get another? The $90 bottle of wine for some occasions, however…)

laxmom - right is right for a lefty!

right handed , left wrist, slightly loose band. Have 3 watches, cheap timex for everyday work (preschool teacher, need I say more?), nicer pulsar H gave me for birthday several years ago for weekends/going out and old bulova that belonged to my grandmother who died when I was 11. It still works but I never wear it (it’s tiny) just pull it out and look at it now and then.

right handed, left wrist, slightly loose band, 1 watch, Skagen, 7 years old, I really like it. Only problem is I often forget to look at it until it’s too late.

left handed, right wrist. A fossil that is both silver and gold bought years ago at Costco in Canada on a vacation. Slightly loose.

Which do you prefer–digital or analog?
Me: analog. It feels less demanding of my time. And it’s more elegant.

Timex Expedition wearer here–but still late wherever I go.

I love my watch because you can keep track of the time in two time zones (useful when I travel). Also there is a stopwatch timer and a countdown timer (which I use when I fly–when the captain says that it will take 6 hours to fly to our destination, I set the countdown timer and start it when the plane takes off). I don’t use the alarm much.

analog for sure.

I think I am the odd lefty that wears her watch on the correct arm-the left! I will admit that while I am a lefty, in several sports I play right handed. I throw a ball and bowl right handed, play tennis left handed, bat left handed, and kick right footed. When my brother and I fought as kids, I slapped right handed!
