who would harvard choose??

okay, i always had this question…who would harvard choose? a top student (highest gpa, sat scores, yada yada yada) with cliche activities (like the typical mun president, nhs president, you name it) or a student with a decent A- average (but with high sat scores) with outstanding extracurriculars (such as research and bein manager of someplace). who would harvard choose???

Well none of us on this really know for sure, since we don’t work for the Harvard admissions committee
In my opinion tho, the two seem kind of the same and it would come down to essays/recs.

As ffb says, no way to know. But clearly, Harvard gets LOTS of applicants with highest gpa, sat scores, yada yada yada. If you have a unique resume, that’s got to be a plus.

Harvard chooses some of both, but think the edge goes to the latter.
