<p>Just curious to see if any good schools would offer me money to go to their schools with the stats I have. I’m interested in colleges in NY, MD, or NJ. Would any school in those states offer me money with my stats…</p>

<p>SAT: V610 M640
GPA: unweighted cumulative 90 (not sure how you all calculate GPAs since many people do it differently)
weighted though its between 3.6 or 3.7
Ranking: About 22/203
Course Load: during all four years ive taken 15 honors class & 2 aps out of 26 classes in all excluding gym
ECs: Two varsity letters in tennis, a few clubs mostly having to do with writing, was editor for newspaper for a year, spanish and national honor society</p>

<p>I’m assuming you’re asking about merit aid, not financial aid (which is based on need).</p>

<p>Goucher in Maryland would probably give you a nice merit package with those stats. So would Drew University in New Jersey. In New York, try Hartwick College, Hobart/William Smith, or Manhattanville. Of course, there are other schools that may as well - figure out what you’re looking for and take a look at various college financial aid/merit web sites.</p>

<p>Goucher has a good communications program. Washington College has a well-respected creative writing program but not communications. Some others with good communications programs that you might want to check out for what they may offer in merit: Susquehanna, Villanova, Fairfield, Ithaca.</p>

<p>If your SAT’s remain at that level, schools like Villanova and Fairfield are not likely to provide you with merit aid. It is also unlikely that Hobart would either. You might look at St. John Fisher in Rochester or Niagara for communications and possible merit aid.</p>
