Who's applying ED to Penn?

when i visited Penn…it seemed as if there was an abundance of red-heads…wass it just me?

My test scores aren’t the best, don’t worry.

haha my best friend is a ginger! urm? ;)

as an answer to free2rhyme’s question, i think it’s everyone’s decision as to what career they choose. for example, i know that as a pharmacist, i would earn $60,000 min./year, but i would probably hate the tedious work of doing the same thing every day which is why i applied to the nursing school. it suits my personality better. then obviously as a doctor, you earn a lot more than someone in either of these two positions. i think it’s all perception. if you’re doing what you love and you have enough to get by, that should be fine, but if you’re interested in money only, it’s a different story.

That basically is a description of me haha.^ Except the last part is only true sometimes for me, I approach people if I want to.

@kristinabrown1
lol I DO THE SAME THING! My cousin is a senior at Wharton and I always creep on her FB pictures and imagine myself as a student there… #wishfulthinking :(

crazy pluto i kjnow how you feel.

EmPaige lol i just realized you arent the one i was comparing apps to was it lol…that was prolly really weird…are you the cheerleader from a small website?

and angel42, i’m applying to Wharton

ps irrelevant question, but are we going to post our decisions here on friday or on a different thread?

@aangel42, I’ve applied to VIPER- the hybrid of SEAS and CAS

Kristina- lol nope, sorry :/

lol ohh…hahaha then ignore what i said earlier

@aangel42, My second choice was Wharton as well!
@SENIO12, We’ll probably post on another thread for decisions.

I personally think we should just post our decisions on here, but since I think a separate thread is always made, we should post on both preferably? Lol or I’ll just copy paste the list onto that thread

I think we should definitely post on a separate thread.

Does someone want to make the

Official Penn Class of 2016 ED Results

thread?

And post the template, etc?
Free2rhyme, since you’re a boss, want to do the honors?

PLEASE MY ONE REQUEST IS REJECTEES (including myself :-S) PLEASE POST IT HELPS FUTURE APPLICANTS OUT…i know last year i liked to compare the average profile of each

We can say whether or not we got in on this thread and then post stats on another thread…

[Edit] Yeah, what Empaige21 said. :)

Good plan, sweetpuri.

@sweetpuri: YES that’s an awesome idea  I think everyone should do that!

69 HOURS.

@45 Percenter (or anyone else lol, but I thought you’d know best) - I’m just wondering but is it statistically indicative of a general trend if there’s SO MANY Wharton applicants posting on this thread? It should be right? Do you think it’s mostly because of Wharton being, arguably, a cornerstone of Penn or is it generally always how the applicant pool plays out? Because I remember we were discussing self-selectivity before on this thread and someone had said that the 26% rate holds across all 4 schools - but wouldn’t it have to be lesser for CAS and Wharton and greater for SEAS and nursing? Or is it just an average? Or maybe I’m just confused… lol sorry I’m just trying to figure all this out :)

If you guys who are getting decisions don’t want to handle the stress of making another thread and getting your decisions, I can make the results thread. I’m just a junior getting caught up in all of this lovely Penn talk.

I would EmPaige, but judging from past years. If I do it too soon, then the thread will be filled with a lot of junk. The Official University of Pennsylvania Class of 2016 ED Results should be used only for stats. I am going to have to need a few minutes to absorb the result in my head whatever it may be.

So if you guys get here before me:

All you need to do is write the title, and follow the directions on this thread:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/1043564-official-university-pennsylvania-class-2015-ed-decisions-thread.html

Just read your response, dfree124, that would be great if you could do that.
I feel like I would mess up the formatting anyway.
