Who's applying ED to Penn?

@sweetcookie, you know being white and all, I don’t think she needs to know how to speak chinese. But has to plug that in to google translate.

Scratch that, google translate isn’t the best. You were right, sweetcookie. I plugged it back and I got some nonsense sentence too.

Don’t worry, EmPaige, I will throw you down a gauntlet for sure.

BTW, Congrats on the Cornell acceptance Cortana.

I accept it, MISTER.

I don’t know if you understood that, but let’s go.

Vous pouvez, vous, EmPaige? Ayons un argument dans une langue diff

Yeah, it seems a bit random, no use in talking about stats, since the decisions were decided 3-4 days ago…
I can’t read Traditional either…

What is this challenge you speak of? I’m confused!!!

@OOquanta, he used Google Translate haha :D

@All: Ahh. I’ve read Traditional for life, so when I saw those characters, it made me chuckle. Although, the last part is off. “As you probably know, I am writing China”. Should be Chinese, but that’s what you get with Google Translate.

Also, on a serious note, how do they determine rigor? How many AP’s you’ve taken? If your counselor says “Most Rigorous Load” on the CA?

^Stop talking about apps…

@hardworking21

Yes colleges determine rigor by what your counselors indicate on the school report. Also, they look at how many AP’s are offered and how many you’ve taken. Its always in context.

@sweetcookie I’m not even proficient and it made my eyes burn!! hahah

Good luck to every ED applicant from a newbie to CC lol

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day, until the last syllable of recorded time, and all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death.

@sweetpuri
I see, well when I used translate to help me with practice for the AP, I found it best to take translate parts at a time, like phrases or words. No wonder the sentence didn’t make sense.

@hardworking
I’m not sure, and not sure how it’s rated. My school offers 29…well lots of them are languages, but yeah, I don’t think it’s possible to take them all.

I read traditional Chinese too! haha. Taiwan! woot woot :)

I have 3 quizzes tomorrow (Gov, French, & Lit) so…

Goodbye my loves for I must go study… <3 Just wanted to say this: You are all such friendly and supportive people who have made me laugh and cheered me up through this DIFFICULT process. Whether I get in or not, I’m SO glad to have spent the nervous one month journey of awaiting results with such wonderfully Penn-tastic people! We are legendary.

(I shall return here promptly after school tomorrow or later tonight since I know I can’t help it. We better have 200 pages by then!)

Yeah Taiwanese Penn Applicants! Haha! And ok, I never got a straight answer, and I figured you guys would have one. :)

I am freaking out!!!

I decided to make the results thread. Good luck everyone :)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/1254666-official-upenn-class-2016-ed-results-thread.html

Ok, for those of you who are still man enough to be here, what will you miss most about this thread? What about the least?

guarantee there will be a whole page of posts before decisions go up on that thread… ugh

Eagleeye we states several times in the thread that the decisions thread would not be made until 15-30mins before the decisions came out. Perhaps you should’ve asked our opinions first… ?
