Yay! 10char

If I had a twitter, I would! Haha… seems like too much to keep up with :)

I hardly use Twitter, but it’s times like these that it’s totally necessary!

I use mine maybe once every two months. I just used it for this :)

Same here. Too lazy to make an account and make one tweet lol
Can’t do the same on Facebook, cuz I’d prefer that no one know about Penn my secret lover. Our relationship status is still “complicated” =p See what I did there?

Oh god, we’re such geeks.

Yo estoy de acuerdo.

I wish I could join you guys in this thread, but I have a whole year (and two weeks?) to go until I get in (think positive!). Good luck yall.

I love how we’re going off on tangents about twitter, facebook, and dorms. Everybody’s all chill and cool…not as serious as the guys over at the Harvard thread discussing about sat scores and ea acceptance rates.

Yeah exactly. It exhibits the affability so typical of Quakers and I LOVE IT!

Well if I knew everyone’s practically-perfect SAT scores, I’d probably stay in the fetal position until notification day.

Oh my gosh I’m so sad I missed out on all this bonding. I slept in till 12:30…embarrassing I know right. But I went through all the threads and @sweetcookie, we basically have the same AP classes, more or less. I’m taking APES, AP Calc, AP Lang, AP Physics, AP Gov and then two regular classes…

And I liked your Tumblrs! I have one too… I can’t decide whether to link it or not, since mine is semi more personal haha. But as for Facebook, I have a bunch of people I don’t really talk to. One of my friends is a girl from Collegeconfidential who got in last year who talks to me about the application process. I know I’m just a little eager :)

On a more serious note, I got my link fixed, but now I’m worried they’ve probably already seen my app :/

My SAT scores are no where near perfect…I wrote my optional essay about why I didn’t study for them and people told me it was a really creative essay. Hopefully it doesn’t come off as an “excuse” for my okay score.

@mylife
Really, don’t worry about it too much. There was a discrepancy in my app too that I never resolved. (Coach wrote 17hr/week in the pool while I wrote 26hr/week for the sport total, including meets, weights, and transportation. Hopefully they don’t equate the two and think I lied.)

Yeah but I’m sure they’ll say that you practice outside of school which accounts for all that. As for my link, all they had to do was click it off the screen. Sigh. C’est la vie. I wanna try to call them and tell them what happened but I’m not really sure what to say…

@ accordingtome - lucky you can still fit in a couple of extra classes on top of those AP’s…I’ve maxed out

@EmPaige21 - It seems like no one is truly confident about their app. There’s always something less than perfect. Even with an SAT score in the 2300s, I still don’t feel like a competitive applicant.

@sweetcookie
Wanna trade scores?
2120 here…and mediocre SAT IIs…gonna be the death of me. <<–truly the weakest, WEAKEST part of my application.

@mylife-
I write music and have an interesting youtube channel that I tried to link, and it didn’t link either. I just assumed that if they wanted to see it, they would copy and paste it into google. I’m sure you’re beyond fine :)

@laodicean
2320 and perfect sat 2 scores
wanna trade ECs or transcript?
I feel like moving three times during high school limited my potential in a lot of ways though.

I slept in until 11:50

@laodicean: My SAT scores are definitely the weakest part of my app…uggh!
