@free2rhyme: No no, being indifferent to a rejection should not be the way to go. If you were ever serious about Penn in the first place, you should react strongly, not like whatever.

I think there should be:
-a class of 2016 Decisions Thread
-a consolation thread
-an official class of 2016 thread

I mean, Alex, normally I would agree with you. But with such strong sentiments about Penn on this thread (unlike any last year), I feel it is my obligation to make this thread.
I don’t think we will be doing the celebration thread; I just said it was just to point something out.

I agree with EmPaige; So everyone who gets in can celebrate in the official class of 2016 class thread. But really feel free to create one thread for celebration, sweetpuri.

sweetcookie; its just that I was initially feeling that. But, now I am think I am pretty much killing myself by stressing out too much. So, if I get accepted, I will by hyped (but I don’t want to think too much about it because then you are just setting up yourself for rejection). If I get rejected/deferred, I will probably mope for a day or two, consider why others got in and I didn’t, pray for the best for the rest of my colleges, and move on. That’s really all I can do. Crying won’t help a rejection (not that I cry). But that’s my opinion.

I agree^ Btw, this is for those who are curious:

ANYONE WATCHED BREAKING DAWN? ahahaha it was just out in New Zealand

@free2rhyme: mopping counts as a normal reaction. that’s what i’ll be doing and there’s nothing I can do about it. it’s human nature.

@free2rhyme, I like that idea!

Let us start with favorite PASTIMES…?

I like to listen to music from all over the world. Go for a jog in the morning. Eat. (Do any of you also have an obsession for fruit yogurt?) Read books. (It’s more of a once a year thing.)

I joined in the breaking dawn hype, cuz I felt left out when I never watched any of the cool movies.
after watching the movie, i switched from team edward to team jacob.

@IheartPW, I watched Breaking Dawn last weekend haha. It certainly was NOT a PG-13 movie, but overall it was pretty good. (Taylor Lautner influenced my positive impression of the movie.)

& you live in New Zealand ?!?!

hmmmmmmmmmmm i wonder why LOL
nah read the book read the book. i remember this girl from my old school who was obsessed with the twilight saga, you can’t speak to her without hearing about edward, she did count down for twilight movie like everyday in english class!
@sweetcookie: were you the one of the other Chinese alive in this thread? where abouts are you from in China?

@sweetpuri, ahahaha PG-13, really? i can’t remember
I think for the book, i will always stay with Edward, but as for the movies… dear Jacob is just wayy hotter!
yepp, i thought i have sort of mentioned that before, or mayb i just wrote NZ and people thought otherwise.
I AM A KIWI ta!

@IheartPW - yes i’m alive and well in this thread. I’m from Guangzhou. you?

they Photoshopped edward’s butt crack in the “scene”…just thought i’d let you guys know

Ok, this is a question that I really do want to know: what character from FRIENDS do you guys think was the funniest?

i’m like… trying to research my RD universities in order to write the supplement essays… before i realised how much depth i have gone into Penn research, its incomparable! im not that willing to research so much in depth in my RD universities… (mayb I will when I get rejected…)
anyone else feeling the same way?

Ugh I only have 200 more words of supplemental essay to write.
And I completely agree IheartPw, it’s hard to be as passionate.

haha sweetcookie have you been doing some research on that? =P, yeah i know because Rob said it in an interview or so.
overall, im a bit disappointed by the movie.
ohhhhh so you speak canto? after living in NZ for so many years and i can understand canto a little now!
im from He Nan, idk if you’d know where that is…

Yeah me too, but not as many schools emphasize the essay as Penn.
