No kidding, I think sweetcookie’s gonna get in. Just bc I know you have a good SAT score which I’m sure correlates with good academics; and your personality prob shines through your essays.

@sweetcookie: It makes sense if you have younger siblings. The thing is I AM the youngest sibling. I just never grew out of my habits lol. Oh and you’re definitely not getting in! (There, I un-jinxed you)

@acceptmealready - well, i don’t think people will continue to post on this thread after the 9th. There’s going to be another thread called “Penn ED Decisions Class of 2016” where everyone will post his/her decisions.

@QwertyNerd
Hahaha it’s okay… we all watch Disney sometimes! Lol I still watch cartoons like Scooby Doo with my little brother every once in a while.

My faves: HIMYM, The Office, PLL (Yes I know…) & other CW shows <3
Movies: TOO MANY.

Blah, having a really, really bad day Anyone wish to cheer me (or other glum CCers) up with some well-intentioned humor?

The purpose of the deferred/rejection thread (for those who didn’t read the pages before) is to console each other and help with RD apps and just getting over the Penn decision.

I don’t exactly want to rub salt on wounds, do you guys have any idea for a better title than “Penn Rejected/Deferred ED Applicants”? I feel that might make people feel worse.

And EmPaige21, that just isn’t positive thinking. When you get accepted, please do try to make some time to visit the Rejected/Deferred thread.

It seems as if you free2rhyme has already admitted defeat. If you’re thinking positively, then why don’t you start the Penn ED Celebration thread?

Just because I have given up, doesn’t mean that I can’t give out positive energy and encouragement, right?

I would start the Penn ED Celebration Thread (I assume you expect that thread to function for accepted applicants), but I don’t expect a lot of responses because everyone who will be accepted will probably getting their drink on outside CC.

Initially, I was thinking the countdown would cause me more anxiety, but now I don’t mind. Honestly, I just have a blank mind right now; if accepted, I have gotten a great privilege; if rejected/deferred, oh well, I can’t do anything now.
