Who's applying ED to Penn?

It’s worse when CC-ers think you’re going to get in, and then they end up being the ones getting accepted with you being rejected.

@ QwertyNerd - I’m a child at heart too! With two other younger siblings at home, I’ve grown up watching Disney.

No kidding, I think sweetcookie’s gonna get in. Just bc I know you have a good SAT score which I’m sure correlates with good academics; and your personality prob shines through your essays.

Thanks mylife for jinxing me lol.

i feel like this thread is going to get awkward after 5 on the 9th but i hope we all get in!!!

6 Days!
TV Shows…

Bones, NCIS / LA, CSI NY / Miami, House, Tera nova, Greys’ anatomy, 24

@sweetcookie: It makes sense if you have younger siblings. The thing is I AM the youngest sibling. I just never grew out of my habits lol. Oh and you’re definitely not getting in! (There, I un-jinxed you)

@acceptmealready - well, i don’t think people will continue to post on this thread after the 9th. There’s going to be another thread called “Penn ED Decisions Class of 2016” where everyone will post his/her decisions.

@xAlex452 i am loving terra nova and house is the best! i miss cuddy though.

@sweetcookie yeah that makes more sense.

BAH! Tomorrow it will be “this week”

and television shows:
Scrubs, Modern Family, Mystery Diagnosis, 48 Hours

Movies:
Mostly Documentaries, but I like: UP, Limitless, A Beautiful Mind

@QwertyNerd
Hahaha it’s okay… we all watch Disney sometimes! Lol I still watch cartoons like Scooby Doo with my little brother every once in a while.

My faves: HIMYM, The Office, PLL (Yes I know…) & other CW shows <3
Movies: TOO MANY.

Blah, having a really, really bad day :frowning: Anyone wish to cheer me (or other glum CCers) up with some well-intentioned humor?

No matter what happens to me, I will make that Penn Deferred/Rejection Thread after December 9th.

@Sweetpuri, if you don’t know dat phan, look him up on youtube; that will probably cheer you up a bit.

Well I’ll be excited to write in the rejection thread.

The purpose of the deferred/rejection thread (for those who didn’t read the pages before) is to console each other and help with RD apps and just getting over the Penn decision.

I don’t exactly want to rub salt on wounds, do you guys have any idea for a better title than “Penn Rejected/Deferred ED Applicants”? I feel that might make people feel worse.

And EmPaige21, that just isn’t positive thinking. When you get accepted, please do try to make some time to visit the Rejected/Deferred thread.

Penn ed consolation forum.

That sounds so much better; I can’t believe why I was struggling with that. FYI, I probably edited that last post 7 times.

free2rhyme- I want to give you a huge hug, you make me so happy.

@everyone- what are you doing tomorrow?

It seems as if you free2rhyme has already admitted defeat. If you’re thinking positively, then why don’t you start the Penn ED Celebration thread?

Just because I have given up, doesn’t mean that I can’t give out positive energy and encouragement, right?

I would start the Penn ED Celebration Thread (I assume you expect that thread to function for accepted applicants), but I don’t expect a lot of responses because everyone who will be accepted will probably getting their drink on outside CC.

Initially, I was thinking the countdown would cause me more anxiety, but now I don’t mind. Honestly, I just have a blank mind right now; if accepted, I have gotten a great privilege; if rejected/deferred, oh well, I can’t do anything now.

Why don’t we just make an ED decisions thread? like last years…

@free2rhyme, LOL thanks for the suggestion! Dat Phan is one funny guy… :D

Well, a celebration thread seems a little pretentious but if I get in (which I won’t), I might just create one.

@EmPaige21, cleaning out my closet full of shopping bags from Black Friday! You?
