@nabile: Here’s the prep classes for a transfer into CALS for Biology. ^_^

For transfers entering as sophomores (two full-time college semesters completed or in progress at time of application, approximately 30 credit hours):

Biology 1 & 2 with labs
Academic writing 1 & 2 or writing and public speaking
Chemistry 1 & 2 with labs
Calculus 1 and either calculus 2 or statistics

Since you aren’t already in chemistry, I’d see if you can get into Chem I somehow for spring (though you probably can’t), so if thats the case, take chemistry I over the summer and see if Cornell will let you wait until you arrive to take chem II. But if you do that, make SURE you have all the other prereqs done.

I’m nearly convinced that ILR hasn’t even begun to send out decisions yet, even though they’ve decided the fates of a few applicants.

Each time I call to ask a question, I keep getting a different answer. First, they told me that the self-service would be updated. Then, they told me it wouldn’t. Next, they said that I’d get an e-mail, but now they’re saying that they’re not even sure if they’re just doing regular mail instead of sending an e-mail as well (this was yesterday). If they had sent out decisions, I think they’d already know the media which they’re using.

And I’ll share my roommate stories tomorrow after my econ final.

I don’t get it. Are they planning on taking 9 years? Jeez. I mean tomorrow is already the 10th, pretty sure almost everyone last spring heard back by now.

They’re supposed to be sending us our bill by Monday. That seems ridiculous.

hahaha. wasn’t Texas trying to “extricate” or “emancipate” itself from the United States. I don’t know the right word to describe what I am trying to say.

Yea, I pretty much knew I wouldn’t get anything on Monday or Tuesday since the receptionist that I spoke to on Friday said a decision hadn’t been made on my behalf yet (from my understanding, it takes about 2 days for people to get their letters once they’ve been mailed out). There’s still three more mailing days left in the week though.

Definitely, east. I think you guys will have your decisions by afternoon on Saturday. I really hope everyone gets in! And I really hope Maclen hears SOMETHING soon before he fettle positions under his bed XD

bj8nes, congrats! Join the FB group so you can meet up with all of us who are in!

EDIT: btw, I got my housing worked out. I’m in a Becker suite double ;D I’m actually kind of excited about that, less about the roommate but I have a suite. So our own common room and bathroom seems good, and I’m still with everyone.
