I have a question. Is it possible to apply for housing(if i can get in the portal) , and later when i get the financial aid packet, let them know that i’m attending or not?

Thank you, my CC Friends xo! I have a strong feeling that we’ll all be at Cornell in the Spring!!

mollena congrats (sorry :P) what college did you get in?

congrats Mollena and Brandnew!! wow so far every single person on this thread has been accepted to Cornell even thou Mollena and Brandnew are both GTs. this is a good trend and let us keep this running for a while yah?

Haven’t been on this thread for about two days now, but I see we have some more news – Mollena and Brandnew: great to hear that you two finally received your big white packet! Congratulations!

Haha, I agree with valvsu, this trend should definitely keep running!

Acc, i applied for housing right after receiving my package, it let me straight thru

congrats mollena!!!

it is quite impressive that there haven’t been any rejections on this thread yet. i imagine that most people on CC are comparatively aware and competitive applicants compared to other regular applicants. we have the advantage of sharing a great deal of knowledge, guidance, and support, which helps a lot during the application process…

well, rejection letters probably come out after acceptances… and there’s really only been like two non GT’s who’ve really been accepted thus far

thanks mood killer :P

haha, not necessarily Riley, considering last year’s spring thread had like 4 denied before anyone received acceptance. It went kind of 1-2-1-2 with accepted, denied, etc.

I like our numbers so far. Counting GTs, we’re like what, 5/5? Let’s definitely keep it going (hopefully I can hop into the positives on that on if they find my midterms, rawr…if not I’ll be faxing them on Tuesday and be praying for immediate feedback.)

Agreed, admissions said themselves decisions are sent out on a rolling basis (as they are made). So it’s just pure coincidence that everyone here has been accepted so far. Also, most of the people who have heard were GTs or from community colleges who had transfer agreements with Cornell. Maybe that’s the order in which they review applications.

Also I’m saying that because I haven’t heard back yet T_T

Congrats, Molly. Hopefully the rest of us will hear within the next two weeks.

From what i heard, some majors can’t be GT because those are the most demanded

Yea, not all colleges give GT agreements.

all the contract colleges, hotel, and arts and sciences give GTs. i guess that only leaves engineering and AAP out.

i’ve decided not to bother checking my mail until the end of the month because of what they said about sending out decisions at transfer day. i guess that helps a bit with the anxiety because i know not to expect anything until way later. but it also means that i’m hating on the world until then lol

ironic…so you are saying its time for us CALS applicants to be anxious about admissions. thats very ironic and you are ironic lol

no, i can only speak for humec lol. i have no idea how cals works or what their time table is like.

im kidding dude. lol but it seems that we should know before you guys

hi all…congrats =) Has anyone received anything word from FinAid? Just curious…concern.

Congrats to Molly and Brandew again! What did people do who had one really low mark in a prerequisite course on the midterm report? How did you address this issue?
