Who's applying for Spring transfer 10'-Cornell?

Which class and how low are we talking?

I had an A- in macroecon, but I don’t think that’s too bad. If you haven’t sent in the report yet, I guess you could attach a letter like water did.

Thank you Cal, East, TFN…on your congrats! I think that everyone will hear much sooner than expected. When I called Humec, the woman answering the phone gave no indication that they had sent out my acceptance. She said that everything was in and they would send out notifications, once they started reviewing.
I’m keeping my fingers & toes crossed for everyone!!!

Avie, i’m also waiting for the financial aid letter, but i’ve seen on the website (and confirmed it by sending an email to finaid) that the decision will be sent by mid december. I hope it doesn’t take that long tho. housing deadline is december 15th

I’m waiting for my financial aid letter also. It is supposed to take 7-10 days from the time your fin aid app is complete to receive the package (which I think occurs online). Mine was complete on Wednesday of last week… Not long until many more decisions begin appearing guys and gals.

Just for the record: you DO NOT want to live in the Gothics. I was in Baker, and it’s pretty, but the bathrooms are HORRIBLE and there are no elevators and the rooms are tiny. The charm lasts about eight seconds.

Just sayin’

bahahaha viola. that’s why i always say i want to live in cook or becker. preferrably becker. i’m sure you’ve heard me say my desired room type a million times, so i won’t say it again. :)

woo, back to cornell in 2 weeks! lol

Has everyone who applied to be a spring transfer received notice of their acceptance/rejection by now?
My friend applied and I hope she gets in but I don’t want to bother her and ask again.

@ ficre24, only two regular spring applicants and two guaranteed transfers have received acceptances. there haven’t been any rejections on our thread.

Bleh, really, Viola? And I would have thought the gothics were the pure representation of living in an Ivy League school :P

Well then west campus, I pray for thee…(got another email asking for my midterm grades. Going to ALL MY teachers AGAIN tomorrow to collect them and then fax the sheet to their office. Yeesh.)

how should we be able to find out if they got our midterm report or not?
should we call them or send them an email?

My theory is, if they haven’t contacted you, they have them.

It also depends on what school you are. I doubt ILR is worrying about anything involving midterms for another two weeks at least before they officially check mark everything given by everyone.

If it’s CALS, they probably has your stuff and are making a decision.

i think you’d know if your app was forwarded for review. but i guess you could be safe and call them to check. you’d get the quickest response that way. and you’d also safeproof against receiving an automated email response.

No one again, huh…
Sometime this week then, or next. I’m going to say most likely end of this week/into the next…

Call them just in case, I’d say…in the rare event they might have forgotten to notify you that they’re missing something. Try towards the beginning of the day so they’re not as cranky and therefore not as likely to snap at you for calling them…lol

Hey guys,

It’s been a loooooooong time since I’ve been on here but its great to see some people getting acceptances already. Any guesses how long until ILR decisions go out (3 weeks? 4 weeks?) Everything has been in now for about a week and a half (straight A’s for midterms!!!)

Also, does anyone thing ILR will give some people guaranteed spots for next fall?

^^^The committee doesn’t meet until December.

What are your stats?

edit: never mind, found them. I see you where here long before I came.

no decision today, huh? since its rolling based and Az lives in Northeast, Az should be the next one to know. good luck Az

heeeeeeeeey viola next time i go to corny (a week from thursday… i go there a lot hehe), i’m spending a night at bing before i make my way up to ithaca. let me know if you’ll be around to meet up at bing slash want to come with me. ps this offer goes for anyone in that general area.

also, yeah, if they haven’t contacted you about missing materials, it’s safe to assume they have them all.

Emina, I will check my schedule and see if I can also go with you!! I’ll bring lots of goodies for the trip! :0

ahh please do! but be warned: i’m going for quite some time. thursday to the following wednesday, so november 19 - november 25. night 1 - binghamton, night 2 - cornell, night 3 (and maybe night 4) - syracuse, nights 4 - 6 - cornell. that’s my crazy schedule lol. but you could always come with me and then take a bus home if you have to, or take a bus up and come home with me. so whatever you want, there’s plenty of options.
