Oh man, one of the most interesting things in going to college is that I’m going to the USA (as an international student), so I’m going to be nowhere near my parents, that’s a releif!! I can’t wait. My mother put me down so much… I’ll finally be independant, woohoo.

Here are some examples of how ■■■■■■■■ my mom is:

1- I talked to my mom about saving up to buy a digital cam, after showing her a catalog of the few cams I had in mind, she tells me, “Don’t have any ambition. Ambition will only ruin who you are as a person, because when you fail to acheive those ambitions, you will feel really bad.” << Best advice in the universe! There’s a big difference between “ambition” and “dream”, and there’s nothing wrong with “dreams” either…
Buying a digital camera isn’t exactly an “ambition” for me, I have real ambitions, but of course sharing them with my mother, she’ll only reply with “Live the moment, don’t think about the future.” << Yeah, that’s exactly what she did, now living on a plan worse than the American 401k plan… with 3/4 of the money going to rent and debts.

2- I told my mom I wanted to learn how to drive. I’m 18. Americans get their license at the age of 16. The legal age here is 18, so why not, ya know?? and she gives me a lecture about how dangerous driving is, and how I’m better off not driving. (Yeah, as if I have money to buy a caddie, even)
Ok, what agitates me the most, is that she spends 90% of her day driving, what a hypocrite.

25 days remaining, hang in there, big man, Triple T. :)
