Your teams? Your outlook for the season? Just some plain smack-talk? Just lay it all here. So discuss away until a new champion is crowned this June! GO ROCKETS!!

P.S (Discussions or references to Damian Lillard, the Portland Trailblazers, the final 6 seconds, or Game 6 of the West 4&5 match-up are not allowed )

We’re always huge followers of Syracuse, but they lost some good players to graduation and the draft, so it’s a rebuilding year. Trying not to get my hopes up too high. Hard to get excited about the Bulls since Derrick Rose is perpetually injured.

Also, the athletic program is being investigated (well, I guess I should say, “Whose isn’t?”) and any sanctions could hurt them. The two Syracuse/Duke games last year - now that they’re in the same conference - were heart attack inducers. D1 was at one, and has tickets for one this year, too.

Anyone remember when the University of Houston used to dominate the ratings? So sad they never did rebuild that program.

Spurs meh. At least it’s not Dallas. (But I love Dirk and always will)

It’s early, but then again it’s never too early I know teams haven’t reached 10 games yet, but the Rockets look really good. 6-0 and all wins by double digits. Personally, I was expecting a drop off after Parsons left for Dallas. He was essentially a steal in the second round and was bound to start receiving attention. But they look really cohesive (again only a few games, I know).

OKC Fans, how are you holding up?? They say Durant is walking without a boot now.

I really don’t think that the Cleveland experiment is going to be all that it was hyped up to be. (Yes, I am looking at you Beats commercial.) I think it will take a while for Kyrie and James to mesh.

@teriwtt Down here in Houston there is always some reference to another about the Cougars of Old on the local stations when UofH is playing. I’m actually too young to actually remember haha. But that your sentiment is one that is expressed a lot.

Personlly, I thought last year’s final four championship was a fluke. Kentucky was not a great team last year. And I do not expect UConn to do what they did again. But we’ll see.

My sons say Lebron is in a slump. What’s up with that?

I’m a Bulls fan from way back (pre-Jordan era), so I will always root for them. I’d love to see a healthy Derrick Rose but I’m firmly on the Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler train.

Passionate Vanderbilt basketball fan here. Have season tickets for the 8th year. Love the players and coaches.
Indiana (my alma mater) is my No. 2 team.

@julesegr I think its because Kyrie doesnt understand that it’s Lebron’s team now. Chemistry’s just not there yet.

Rockets didn’t play like they had at the begining of the season. Granted you can’t win every game. There were a lot of ill advised three’s last night.

Of course he should have, but that’s one of his more unlikeable traits. He just isn’t about to forgive IU for how his departure came about, and I sort of don’t blame him. While I agree it was time he moved on, the trumped up final “incident” was poorly handled. That said, if he were coaching, the IU team would not have imploded the way it has in the last 2 weeks. Not completely blaming Crean, but it simply would not have happened under Knight.
