Whose going to SSP this summer

I’m a rising junior. How about you?

I’m gonna be a junior next year dude. So do u know anyone else in Hollis?

i’m bitter… all the sophomores/rising juniors got the nice dorms… grrr… o well, i’m sure u guys are awesome so i’ll just come hang out in ur rooms lol.

Am I the only rising junior in Wigglesworth? The only one on these forums at least?

hindustanichik… some people aren’t even on the yard, so straus can’t be that bad

david06… i suppose ur right… straus is pretty nice… i don’t mean to sound ungrateful, cuz im totally happy…but hollis and stoughton are NIIIICEE

hey… just curious… how much are you guys packing? cuz i dont wanna seem like i’m overpacking…and also… do u guys know if there are irons there? or do we hav to bring them

probably packing way too much. i’m going on the “better to take it and never look at it rather than wish I brought something” theory

i doubt they have irons

hindustanichik – if you’re on one of those laundry plans, they’ll iron it for you.

david 06 – you can always have your parents send stuff to you via overnight delivery

im nto on a laundry plan. i figured id do it myself. haha i based that on the assumption there are laundry facilities that i can use myself. are there?

chazzoz, I’m a rising Junior and I’m in Wigglesworth, hopefully we get good dorms. I haven’t started packing yet, I’ll get to it sometime Thursday night and leaving Friday afternoon for Cambridge.

i went last year… had a great time- it was a really free and open environment. Even learned some stuff too ; ).

hey guys-- do we have to bring our own sheets?!

yea we do—does any one know if we’re allowed to like take a day trip to a public golf course up there, or anything.

you’re pretty much free to do whatever you want, as long as you go to your classes and do your work (even then, some people didn’t go to classes or do their work)…
i don’t know about the policies now, but last year as a rising junior, overnight trips had to be approved by the dean…

Does anyone know what their policy is concerning where we can go around campus. Do we need supervision to leave the campus?

You can go everywhere and anywhere you want.

And no, you don’t need supervision to leave campus.

yeah thats what i loved. you do whatever the heck you want all summer.
and i loved everything else of course…

For laundry, I’d never done it before until last summer - my mom always did the laundry.

If you like ironed clothes, bring an iron definitely. Laundry service is albeit expensive, I think compared to the effort required to do your own laundry.

It’s extremely easy and convenient to wash the clothes and iron them half-decently, although not as well as my mom would.

Even for somebody that had no experience whatsoever.

Anyways, feel free to AIM me if you have any questions.

I’m going again this year too :)

so, does anyone want to be laundry buddies?

:) cough DAVID and MISHA haha and anyone else…
