<p>I just was accepted for fall 2010 along with the cp scholars program, but I don’t know why. Well, of course I’m happy about it, but my major (Japanese) doesnt seem to fit with any of the living and learning programs I see here [College</a> Park Scholars](<a href=“http://www.scholars.umd.edu/programs/index.cfm]College”>http://www.scholars.umd.edu/programs/index.cfm). Of couse it could loosely fit, but I dont see one that I could REALLY fit in with according to my major. Will this be an issue?</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter what your major is. Find one that interests you. I believe the ones that are hard to get into are Business, Society and the Economy; Life Sciences; and Science,Technology and Society. You get to pick a first, second and third choice. Any of the others that I did not mention you should get in with no problem.</p>
