<p>Time for the ***** session: I’m interested in Bowdoin, Davidson, Middlebury, and perhaps Wellesley, Swarthmore… and they’re all so selective to transfer into *grrr (though Wellesley least of all, probably due to the lack of “action”"</p>
<p>Wow–I haven’t even heard of the first three you mentioned.</p>
<p>They’re teeny-tiny (2000 people), but good. Average GPAs in range of 1400-1450, and very good resources for particular depts. They’re all in the top-10 US News college list. I actually hadn’t heard of them until recently, when I started going through more liberal-arts schools and was like "d**n, there are some cool schools here considering I never heard of them, easily as good as Carleton.</p>
<p>Bowdoin and Middlebury are both great schools…I know a lot of people who have been able to transfer into both of them and they love them. If you have a good gpa, recomms, and ec’s then it shouldn’t be a problem for you. Good luck.</p>
<p>the awesome schools are so tough to transfer into because very few students elect to leave the best school for someplace else.</p>
<p>some schools at cornell are not hard to transfor into. Arts and Sciences is near impossible, its like 15-16 percent each year.</p>
